Connected back to blogging

WordPress features have changed a lot since the time I stopped blogging. Now the question comes, why I stopped blogging and deleted all the memories and thoughts of some 2 and a half years in just one moment.

Well, it is sort of difficult to explain it. Let me try an analogy. Sometimes we build something and there comes a moment when you want to destroy it. Though the building has taken effort, time and patience you suddenly possess this wild instinct of just putting the beauty of your creation to an end. Sounds weird. It surely does to me. Well, that’s me :)

However now I am back because I cannot be away from expressing my thoughts. I have a short life time left ahead of me(we never know what happens tomorrow, what say :) ) and I thought it would be foolish not to interact with people and share ideas. So am back again. This time I promise no such wild instincts would put me off from blogging :) I have become a good girl..Oops a good lady.

Well, let my first post be meaningful.

Here was an article in Hindu about women driving bikes: http://www.hindu.com/mp/2008/04/22/stories/2008042250090300.htm

What a lovely article. I have always wanted to ride a two wheeler. I have never driven any kind of vehicle in my life. I always used to walk or take the buses. Once I settle down with my career am definitely going to buy a two wheeler and drive away to glory :) I am somehow not very fascinated with cars. Ofcourse cars are very useful when you want to go out with the whole family. I actually like the smaller cars like Maruti 800, Zen etc.

So if you have driven any two-wheelers or cars and enjoy that share your experiences with me(especially if you happen to be a lady) :)

  • Welcome aboard Saraswathi. Not sure i understand why you deleted the old blog. There were some real gems on it. Anyway, it is your blog and your decision. Nice to see you back with a charming post. Thanks also for adding our blog to the blogroll.

  • Sukumar,
You made my day! Am so glad to have your first comment :) I deleted the blog because I wanted to renew and re-design a lot of things in my life. As I said I do not know why that wild instinct came in me to delete the blog.

And one lesson I have learnt from you Sukumar, no matter how busy you are, you always take time to comment and reply. Really hats off to you!

  • Whoa!you are back with a bang, aren’t you? We’ll have a gala time from now on!:)

  • @Ranjani:
Woow..thanks girl! You made my day too :) Yes and you were also one of the reasons for me to start back blogging. When you mentioned about the group blog I was missing blogging so much it made my resolve to re-start my blog again :)

  • @Reva:
Thanks revs. You are the third person to make my day :)

  • Good things are good to be back at! :) Enjoy your second outing! :)

  • waise, howz the xprnc wid WordPress 2.0? Have heard reviews of it, but havent experienced it yet!

  • @Naresh: You are 4th in line to make my day :)

Well the experience with the new wordpress is good. I like it.

  • Hi Saraswathi,

Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting there. You are right about meeting people and starting to call them friends. I love my friends (both the ones who I have met in person and those I have met through blogging). I love your name. It was the name of the doctor that delivered my second daughter so I actually know how to pronounce it:) That’s a big thing for me with most Indian names. It’s probably a good thing that all you don’t have to hear me say your names when I read your blogs to my daughter.

I deleted a lot of posts off my blog a couple of times, but I always copy and paste them into a word document to preserve the post. I think I do it when I want to change the mood or direction of my blog. Anyway I will put you on my blog roll and watch your new blog grow.

    Kind regards,

    Janet Walgren

  • Thanks for the kind words saraswathi. Looks like you have got a royal welcome. You must be feeling great.
