Where is our society going to? Even in 2008 I get to hear and witness such stories. A friend here from Birmingham got married recently. Let her call X. She came here on H4 status. Her husband who was very well educated tortured her. Lets not go into the details because it’s really heart wrenching. She has now filed her divorce. She’s staying all alone now and did not have a single $ in her bank account.
Such men should be kicked. I feel like putting them right in the middle of the street and kick them. Do we call such men really educated? Doesn’t education put any sense in them? How can someone be so cruel? What about the girl? All her dreams are shattered because of a man who is not worth calling a human being. I do not know how she is managing to stay in the same house all alone. Think about the nightmares she must be having. The emotional trauma.
Am just deeply angry. Not at an individual or anybody. But the whole system doesn’t make sense to me. It makes me think of life on the whole.
One thing I know for sure. If I meet that man, I want to kick him.
