I know the title is kind of misleading
However let me tell the story and then it will be clear as to what the title means.
Well, talk of inheriting characteristics from your parents, I have inherited all the “wrong” characteristics. I could have inherited my dad’s courage, my mom’s patience etc., but no God had other plans
I went onto inherit my parent’s gray hair.
Yes, my mom had her first gray hair at the age of 24(when she gave birth to me) and my dad at 25 perhaps. And my first gray hair?? At the young age of 18. The first time I saw the tufts of gray hair in my head in my 12th std, I was so embarrassed. I went crying to my mom saying I dint want that gray hair on my head .
Well, what would that sweet lady do. She consoled me saying it was “hereditary“. Did that make me happy? Not really, however it made me feel “special” for having inherited at least some characteristic from my parents
Over the years, the amount of gray hair on my head has increased tremendously. Initially when friends used to see my gray hair they used to tease me about me being a “grand mom”. I used to feel very embarrassed. So what was the solution? Follow my two simple tips carefully and am sure you will never get embarrassed before others.
1. “NEVER” cut the gray hair on your head with a scissors. Let me say it again. “NEVER”. Because cutting the “gray” hair is not the right solution.
2. Here is my very dear friend for the last 6 years. It has transformed all my feelings of “old-age-while-young” into “I-am-sixteen-going-on-seventeen” feeling. “Henna” or the “Mehendi“. I make a paste of “Henna” with water. Pour 1-2 small spoons of lime juice in it. Keep the paste overnight. Then get up in the morning, apply it on the head and let it dry completely for 6-7 hours. And then wash your hair. Lo, behold, you have the most lovely, shining, “dark” hair. The henna does not make the “gray” hair black but it makes it a deep brown color which almost looks like black
This has worked for me. Moreover henna is a good conditioner too. So not only does your hair gets dyed, it also gets conditioned.
Follow the simple procedure and always look and feel young
How could I forget this: Our very own “Superstar” Rajinikanth once said in an interview(when asked the question about his hair
) that he had lot of gray hair by the age of 17 or 18. And since he was in an industry where your “looks” are very important. He started using the chemical dye that you get in the markets. With all the chemicals in the dye, he lost all his hair at an equally young age. So he had mentioned, use “Henna” or other natural products and don’t go in for chemicals. Well, when Thalaivar himself had given that brilliant advice, how can I refuse it
After the interview I felt so happy, that I was in same boat as “Rajinikanth”
Talk of a blind person being happy at meeting another blind person.
